patience....

I often think of waiting like it's a child sent to his room after he gets into trouble.

but, what if waiting is really like foreplay--

              kissing, teasing, grazing, touching, here
                                                                             and then gone.

each moment that passes makes the consummation more inevitable,
                     more desirable.

burning waiting.

the more I want him/Him, the more he/He wants me

                                                          and the more we both want it.

What if He is burning for the release just as much as I am?           teasing to make Want.

he's right there. within plain sight-- tease, graze, stroke. wait.

in passing,

     see me in the shower.    wait.

          dress.    pants.    hair.    neck.

                  lips.    shoulder.    hands.  arms.

             i can feel

                  you against me.

                                            wait.
